The guys that are way under insurance yield should just quit worrying about it, those that have a good harvest and good quality may want to retain control of the physical, just in case there isn't enough of it come winter. Quality seed wheat will probably be in short supply and may be expensive. It may take a fall rally to encourage production.
I wouldn't put much stock in this tour. From the pics and the banter, doesn't look too scientific. Will there be some better than farmers will admit at this point? Yes. Will there be some that is much worse in the end than the tour thinks? Yes. It is not a great crop and the assumption that it is better than it is helps one side and they are in control of the narrative today. Everyone is just going to have to place their bets and move on with it.
