just looked at some wheat that at 50 miles per hour looks like 35 bu wheat, went out and counted kernels in each head and discovered that each head only had 4 viable , bottom couple rows were blank as well as the top 1/3 of the head. wasn't freeze damage as head is completely green yet, just no kernels in the head due to drought.
Kansas wheat tour 23 off and running..
