Subject: Retaining wall advise

S.E. Iowa
I got a number of flat concrete slabs. They are from railroad crossings. They are 2'x16'x8" and some are 8' long. I am fixing up the old shed in the picture and there is a concrete lot and small open front barn behind the picture. I am wanting to raise some calves, replacements heifers, goats, or sheep in the barn. Nothing much mostly just enjoy having them around. I figured on putting fabric on the dirt side but was wondering if I should lay down backer rod and sandwich it between the slabs? Total height will be 42 or 48 inches. Also, have I got enough ot too much slant into the dirt?
