Mercer County, Ohio on the Indiana line | I agree there. I still struggle as a 30 yr old with kids because of some of the smut I was exposed to on the internet as a kid. My kids won’t have unsupervised access to the internet via a smartphone. And computers are in public places in the house. Can’t control everything they do in school unless we’d homeschool, so I’m not sure what our plan is there. Can’t shelter them under a rock but I don’t want them to struggle in ways I have had to.
I’ve considered buying them an Apple Watch with celular that they can still text friends via Siri. No pictures or internet access though, no social media on it either. |
