Kansas | best thing I did was to make a portfolio page to accompany my resume. Take some pics of projects you have completed whether it was mechanic work done, a restoration, a design project, etc. Print off extra pages to hand out and use them in your interview. It gives the person interviewing something to visually see and prompts them to ask specific questions relating to the projects you are very familiar with. You will be more comfortable talking about these specific instances and can draw example of challenges faced or accomplishments that they may ask you to describe. This 100% works and I always received positive commments and feedback directly relating to this- this helped me get an offer on every internship and post grad job applications. | |
