Southeast Colorado | I have interviewed several people for positions from High School FFA officers to full blown business managers. Most of the time it has been groups or committees involved.
I try and ask appropriate questions for the level of responsibility that will be taken on if that person is hired. I noticed several times the interviewers seemed to just want to impress everyone in the room if they could stump the applicant. I was always very annoyed by that.
I remember sharing a secret with the high school kids and telling them that if anyone asked a question they could not answer, then to just tell them if they really wanted to know that specific answer...........they'd need a little time and could get back to them. It's not something you'd want to over use as an applicant. But it works OK as a one out type deal. | |
