I have never been interviewed, but i have given a few. A quality that i have noticed that makes for a good interviewee, is that they LISTEN. Listen to the question, think on it to formulate an answer, then answer it. To me, folks that dont listen to the question and just start talking dont interview well. Interview questions are rarely designed to be "trick" questions, they are usually designed to bring out an honest opinion/knowledge of a relevant subject.

Listen to the question, formulate an honest answer, and let it out. Just my opinion.

Flip side of that is being interviewed and the person who is supposed to be asking the questions doesn't shut up and when they do they don't listen.
