| I have a young man who is a high school senior who has worked for me last summer and this year since January in the shop. He is a good man, very ambitious, hard working and a lot of skill for his age. He is also very quite and shy. When he came out the first time to see about a job, I literally had to pry words out of him.
He has applied to McAllister Caterpillar apprentice program where you work 3 weeks then go to their school for a week and receiving a very good wage for the entire time. I coached him best I could before his first interview but he admitted he was too quite for parts of it. He got called for a second interview and want to help him loosen up a bit.
Any ideas? I think he will make anyone a great employee as he has been for me. I would love to keep him but don't have enough work for a full time employee with my current situation.
