I wanted to give a shout out for a couple of Agtalk driven purchases.

Last fall, we decided we needed a better corn planter that we could combine 8 rows from, and chop silage with six rows, so a 24 row fit the bill. We found one on Agtalk classifieds in Indiana and bought it. It has worked great. Precision meters, shut offs on every row, nice row cleaners, drag chains, storage boxes, air bag downforce, several thousand dollars of new tires and wheels, spare parts, etc, etc, etc. I do not remember the agtalk handle of the seller, but it was a Mr. Byrd if I remember correctly. My son traveled out with our trucker to get it and they were very helpful showing him how to run it. He has also called them since putting it into the field this spring and they are very good to deal with. We are getting great singulation, and the best depth consistency of any planter we have ever used. Great planter for the money, and should last us a long time. Thank you to the Byrd family!

The other recent purchase was I had posted on here in the wanted to find area that I needed a used offset disc. Mike, a Agtalker from Centralia, Mo. contacted me and sold me a nice used Bushhog offset. It had been unused for several years sitting in a barn, but it went right back to work once we greased it and hauled it home. The last few days I was able to get over the whole farm we recently had purchased and cleared all the trees and fencerows from. We had an employee go pick it up, and because the hydraulics had settled off over time, the tounge needed to be hitched higher than the receiver on the truck would allow. Mike went to the house and came back with a 12 inch drop hitch receiver that he loaned us so we could get it home. Great guy to deal with. Thank you again Mike!
