Subject: No till Beans into green cover & slugs

Western NY

A 7 way mix (with crimson clover, turnip, radish,) was planted after wheat in 22. What's left is 12 inch volunteer wheat, sparce crimson clover and turnips in Western NY. Bean Seed is treated with fungicide and innoculant only, no insecticide to keep the slug predators alive. I'm concerned about slugs. Anyone have experience planting green on 10 inch rows? I tried beans into killed hay sod before and had lots of slugs.

Option A: Plant with 750 drill then kill the cover within 2 weeks.

Option B: Strip till it then plant 30 in rows.

Suggestions?
