Subject: RE: Corn belt moisture

Southern MN
Just understand MN has been very spotty the last few years. My area bordering IA we have been cold but very dry. Most guys are finished unless they have a large amount of acres or choose to wait on soybeans. First corn planted a month ago but a different story 20 miles North, they had more snow cover. This past week 15 miles north of me some places have had 8+ inches, and that was before the last 2 days rain. We have had a much needed 1-2. Friend of my son has sugar beets planted and some corn done and hour NW of me, no soybeans.
