Southeast WI | Well if you like preserving soil for future generations that's beautiful. First pic shows corn planted after beans with a rye cover crop that was killed pre plant. Those two flags are where the rows are. On slopes we try to avoid soil disturbance and on flatter ground we can clear the rows better, especially for corn on corn. The whole field doesn't need to be black. Other pics are random shots from this spring. We sure like soil staying in place.
Edit to add, set your planter up right and it's amazing what you can plant into.
