I have used my t shirt in a similar way. Wet the arms, chest and back. Leave the tail dry. Wringe free water out and put on. It will feel bracingly cold 5-10 seconds. Dry in an hour or more.
If you find this helpful. I recommend buying the pva vest above. It does the same thing but lasts much longer
