Subject: RE: What is ag pollution?

Floyd County, Iowa
Mark in WCIowa - 5/13/2023 13:12

I burn all my plastic and other waste. pop bottles and cans get nickel refunded. Zero plastic of mine goes anywhere else.

I understand. Our plastic stays contained, too. Ours either gets recycled or in the dumpster (in lieu of the burn pile). Empty chemical jugs go back to the agronomy center. The county has recycling center for use of rural residents, free of charge. You just have to take it there and sign in. Cans and pop bottles get the nickel refund, too.
But his statement that most of the plastic pollution is from city dwellers is ludicrous.
