Iowa
It’s whatever “they” want it to be. We’re less than 2% of the population, and “row crop” and “animal” ag (the more traditional forms) is probably less than .5%. Part of the problem with society is that everyone is a google expert. Everyone knows how to farm, cause google and social media forms their opinion. This is a lot of the problem, social media and google don’t live in the real world- they live in a world where they control all the variables. Cornstalks blow - you should have put some dirt on them, dirt blows - shouldn’t have touched it. Weeds grow - you should have sprayed, if you spray- you’re using evil chemicals. We’re not even into the “big 1/2 million dollar tractors, think they own the whole world” discussion. Best to to the best you can, and not worry about it. Those that are the loudest complainers have never gone hungry, and have the lowest food cost in the world.
