Light pollution is a big problem, but almost none of it comes from ag. Most people have at least one outdoor light left on when no one is outside. A lot of these people have it up high on a pole so as to make it more annoying to other people. These lights make it hard to see things in the dark when you are looking towards them.

Why should people in ag try to pollute less when other people pollute on purpose in a way that provides no benefit. If you are not outside there is no reason to have an outdoor light on.
