Been through 2 businesses going bankrupt
One was a buyer of white corn --we were made best I remember 90% whole on the grain delivered "by KY grain fund that covers licensed grain buyers"
We lost huge on the very good contracts we had -- FINALLY sold white corn we still had at the farm for much less to another buyer

Other bankruptcy was a input supplier all $ were gone even IF that was my fertilizer he had stored

You probably have no recourse SUCKS

Dan

I've never been involved in one and sure hope never to be.

I've heard of processors filing bankruptcy and farmers were still forced to deliver on contracts. Be a tough pill to swallow hauling product that you know you will mist likely not be paid on.
