Subject: Last grain price fall, what do we need to remember?

So I was in high school in 12/13 era where grain prices peaked and then came back to normal in 13/14. Appears we are heading back to a new normal pricing where we have ample supply with usda showing 2.2B corn carryout. My new crop is protected with puts fortunately but I’m more interested in the other effects of grain prices coming down for agriculture.

How long did it take for equipment prices to fall? Been trying to not buy much at these crazy prices and sell anything that’s not being used.

How long did it take land prices to fall or adjust somewhat?

Land rents?

Fertilizer seems to be adjusting pretty quickly and I assume will continue lower with grains.

Any other things to remember or advice from the past?
