That seems to be a common theme with Lyme's. Misdiagnosed till they finally figure out that is what it is. At least that story came up over and over in his book about some of the patients he treated.

I suppose in areas where it is common maybe the medical people more actively look for it. But in an area where it is not that common or perhaps just doctors that have not previously treated it I can see where it might easily be overlooked.

Makes me nervous. Had yet another tick on me just a couple nights ago and now I have a red blotch around where it was.
