I have no charts and truthfully a piss poor memory. But I am sure on a national average planting date has very little correlation to final yield. The summer weather has the greatest effect and correlation on final yield. Not putting charts down, but isn't it amazing common sense can carry such merit? And once again we need to look at national data. Everyone's individual area means nothing vs the national average. In my immediate area there are a few large farmers that have been done for a couple weeks, many others are done now. Go an hour or two away and they are having trouble planting anything.

As far as prices there have been a few (Ehoff comes to mind) on here that warned prices could start a downward trend. Price opportunities sure looked a heck of a lot better in January than they do now.
