This isn't anything like 2009 according to Snodgrass. More like 2015, 2012, and an 80s year and a 70s year. I'd have to go back a couple videos to find what analog years he compared it to in the 70s,80s.
I swear his last one the model year for ocean temps and changing patterns was closest to 2009.
