I think with the ease of credit in today’s world inflation and a stronger economy are easier to maintain.
The only credit access my parents had in the 70’s and 80’s were home mortgage and vehicle loans.
Today everyone has access to credit, even now, just at a higher rate than a year or so ago.
I got my first cc in 1991.
When I was in high school 87-90 I worked at the gas station probably ran 1 cc a month by the time I was in college and working at a gas station in the college town about everyone was using a cc.
Just some thoughts and what I think interesting changes in the American economy and lifestyle
