Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Yes, even though that change took place last year, it is still cropping up again. Some units do an auto search and others need to be set "manually" to make the switch.
I happened across my old Raven Phoenix 200 GPS the other day. I wasn't sure of its status since due to other circumstances I haven't tried to use it for the last couple of years. I set it up on my Ranger and ran a cord to the shed with a 12V power supply. I didn't get any action at first but then realized by display was setup to use SteerCommand which wasn't part of the test setup. I changed that to manual steering and after a bit I got GPS indications and a bit later got WAAS correction. Apparently my old Phoenix did a search and found the new WAAS replacement satellite.
This means I have a spare or a unit to resell. |
