Saronville NE | I know you I state guys think we're nuts. I've been told on here I'm stupid for waiting to plant with cold and dry. But never seen anything like it. We truly are in bad shape. Isnt enough moisture to even get crop up. We dug a new waterline in for a cattle waterer other day 4 ft deep and total flour even the clay. Not a bit of composure to the soil. We could bury it 4 in deep and it won't find moisture to come up.
Been putting a inch on with pivot and literally in 8 hours you can't tell we even watered. So I just kept em running making another pass. But we won't grow good irrigated corn either without help. No way we can grow a good crop on 100% irrigation. Once we get to v10 it's going to be hurting no matter how many passes we make. It's extremely serious situation. | |
