I believe the goal is for no animal farming at all. Confinement is just the low hanging fruit at the moment. Kind of the AR-15 of agriculture. Another part of the bill introduced in the Senate ag committee (sponsored by cory booker, elizabrth waren, and burnedup sanders) was strict regulations on crop inputs based on the opinion of a governing board in charge of such wisdom. These people won't stop until we starve.
