Effingham County | For what it is worth.... attended a marketing meeting in early March and spokesperson stated that there is an enormous amount of short on wheat in the fund markets. In order to offset their contracts they had to go long to get covered. He stated this would be like a coiled spring for prices and some shorts could not get
offset quick enough when unwind occurs.
