| One of the price measurements I pay attention to in the spring is if/when revenue risk transfers from the producer to the insurance market. As Indy posted a few days ago…..that had begun to happened on top level Eco Sco plans and is now working into the Revenue coverage plans.
It helps me understand where and who owns the risk….I also consider the calendar. History would suggest in years where revenue risk transfers to early ( no big crop in the bin)….prices tend to transfer that risk back to the producer through a price recovery period.
