I still haven't figured out how we raised what we did last year. I had one field I checked in late August that was a very very pale green. Some was almost white. The corn stalks were like rubber. I thought most of them were dead.
We got a few sprinkles overnight for several days and then a tenth or so.
That corn made 140 ish. Some on the better ground made pretty good but didn't dry down right.
There was some spots with no ears so it was close.
