My target I'd like to add 750 - 1,000 lbs. total, to the rear axle.

...4 rings like those in the picture? I assume those should weigh 170 lbs. apiece (340 per ring)?
I'd probably just be interested in two rings (one per wheel; 680 lbs. total) for now, and see how I get along--might be enough.
