North Dakota | If your computer is older and running Windows 7 or earlier a new computer most likely wont run programs in Windows 10 or 11. You will have to download and install current versions of the ones you want to use.
To transfer data (documents, photos, music and videos etc.) simply buy a flashdrive large enough to hold it all and copy each folder into the My Documents folder on the new computer.
By the way most new computers don't have a true hard drive in them, it will have a SSD, Solid State Device, no moving parts, faster and more reliable. Last new computer I bought for home has a 1TB SSD and I added a 5TB true hard drive to act as storage for photos and other documents. | |
