For a real improvement, you ought to try eating just meat and water for a whole month.
The more I experience and learn about it, the more I am inclined to believe that plants are one way to avoid starvation if you can't find any meat to eat. And that is about it.
Or like Dr. Cywes one time said, meat is for nutrition, plants are for taste.
I lived all summer on meaat, cheese, and eggs. Almost completely eliminated my asthma/farmer lung. But by the end of haying season I had had my fill of cheese, eggs, pork rinds, and meat no matter how they were fixed. Felt fantastic, but eating was a chore.
I have never been a picky eater, but Dr. Cywes was correct in saying plants are for taste. I am still eating mostly meat as I just don't feel as good if I eat a bunch of carbs, but with the addition of an assortment of fruits and veggies and nuts I am back to enjoying food.
With haying season fast approaching, any suggestions on how to make a strict carnivore diet more tolerable? |
