SW MN | Thanks for your responses. So a little more info on whats going on with me. I get this every 3 months and it lasts for 3 months. Can't see that it's triggered by anything. All of a sudden I will start coughing and it takes about 3-4 weeks before it gets really bad. The worst times are at night after eating but also anytime I'm talking. At its worst I have to have very strong and bad tasting CDs in my mouth 24/7 and often more than one at a time. I've lost about 10# in the last 10 days because that many CDs in a day makes my stomach feel like crap. Last summer when I had it a doctor put me on a COPD inhaler and something for acid reflux. Much to my surprise it worked and was over it in about 10 days. This time however those meds have done nothing. I've never smoked at anytime in my life and have always been a runner up until age 65 when I started walking instead. I'm not over weight or short of breath. It's an absolute curse to live with this! | |
