NS Canada
I hooked it to the TV via HDMI and a used a plug in mouse, I dug around the settings and viewed some old footage. From there I pulled the internet cable feeding the house nano POE, and plugged it into the NVR to provide it with internet, and then I was able to log into it on my laptop as well, effectively taking the nanos out of the picture and accessing it directly on the house network. So I guess that proves the port is fine on the NVR.

I'll swap that barn POE next. Its powering the barn nano, but not accessing the NVR it seems. I also have a bag of ethernet cables, so god knows which are good or bad. Will have to try different ones until something pops up on that dashboard I guess, showing a cable is plugged in.

I appreciate the time and effort you're providing. This stuff ain't my strong suit.
