Subject: RE: Tipping

West Central Wisconsin
My daughter opened a bakery several years ago and she did not want to have a tip jar like many of her friends suggested. She didn't think it was needed or necessary. From day one people asked where the tip jar was and she just replied thanks but it's not necessary. It got to the point customers would stack up tip money on the counter next to the till and eventually she would have to move it. One elderly customer finally told her she needed a tip jar because customers appreciated the bakery and wanted her to to be successful so were willing to pay a little more.
