I think it is wrong to ask for tips at Mac Donald's. They get decent pay any way.
Now some places only pay a few dollars an hour and the waiter/ waitress brings food, drinks etc. I think tipping has merit there.
I have tipped over 100% of the bill when warranted..
During covid lockdowns I tipped the carry out very well as I am sure those gals were still just getting waitress minimum and I wanted them to hang in there.
Sadly the restaurant made it through covid and sold out afterwards. | |
