I think you nailed the timing... looks like it might be awhile before your fields are firm again.

we worked late and got all of our oats drilled last Wednesday... right before the rain.

We used a Herd seeder on a UTV to spin on a mix of medium red clover (7 lbs/a) and Italian ryegrass (3.5 lbs/a) onto cereal rye a week earlier. We are planning to harvest the rye for seed.

Tomorrow afternoon I would like to spin a mix of annual ryegrass, camelina, rapeseed and flax onto some corn stalks slated for soybeans but I am concerned conditions will be too sticky... probably should have been out there early this morning.
