Donnellson, IA. Makes saying here easier.
Using hydraulic to run it. Had a old orbit motor laying around. Added a pwm valve and a encoder to have shaft speed. I use a strip till module. Which is a more expensive route. But leaves me a spare to my strip till bar if I have issues. Also allows me to vrt my fertilizer. I will use this same setup for micros when I cultivate.

Easiest is to find used planter drives with all that built in. I finally found a couple for some other projects. I like the john deere one's the best. But all companies will work for projects like this. Case Ih ones seem to sell the cheapest.
