Nice save! I've only seen one cow ever push a backward calf alive by itself. I'm sure there's been plenty that do it, one time I had a holstein milk cow I locked up to calve. I was feeding, saw feet backwards, figured I would finish feeding bottle calves, heard a loud belloring peaked around fence and she dropped that calf while standing upright.

Calf hit the ground and was breathing, I don't know how many I've pulled that are backwards, saved quite a few lost a few. More saves than loses I figure.
