1. The discount window is open. Not same as QE.
2. Inflation could well be transitory if your definition is 2 years.
3. Positive real rates could occur soon and remain positive for some time, all without another rate hike.
I find myself cheering for JPow to softly land this plane but the system really just needs a massive, cleansing recession that is gonna suck and I think deep down a fiery crash would be best for the long term. At some point the market will overpower all these man-made financial gimmicks and we will come out the other side the better for it.
