Jpow said he wanted to acheive 2% inflation. CPI at 6%? He said he intended to keep rates steady thru 2023. Media sources really like to hype things up or down. The fed isn’t nearly as fickle or have such a short attention span as the general public. They set their sights on a goal. Looks like they are achieving it but they knew and warned of the turbulence along the way. Consistency is key imo
