Central NC | Holiday inn Oceanfront at surfside Beach, about 10 miles south of center of Myrtle Beach, looks like about 300 per nite, nice to visit Georgetown SC for lunch on the waterfront area, nice area of historic homes that are beautiful, I personally don’t care for downtown Myrtle Beach hotels, many have lost their luster and opposite side of oceanfront street are some run down areas and shady people, can’t say anything about Charleston, Broadway at the Beach is full of restaurants and good for a visit, about 5 miles on the north side of Myrtle Beach, slightly a carnival atmosphere , suggest to book soon wherever you choose
As said, go to Savannah, prefer that over Myrtle Beach, might look at Tybee Island near Savannah
