S Illinois | Trading between two counties is much different than sitting on that currency as a store of value or being used as trade with other 3rd party counties. Watch how much of a trade imbalance is allowed to be built up by either side. Both sides don’t mind swapping goods between each other without having to use USD to do it. But how many Rubles do you really think that China wants or Russia wants of the Yuan. Remember China puts the US to shame when it comes to currency manipulation. Desperation and appearance of strength can look very similar sometimes. | |
