We haul a decent amount of cattle from eastern ks to Dodge or garden. 54 is 4 lane most the way from Wichita to Pratt, and it’s 2 lane with passing lanes from pratt to liberal. It’s smoother and wider, but would definitely suggest taking 56. That’s what we do. It’s a lot less traffic and turns into 50 or take 61 north to McPherson and go east til you run into i35.
