One other issue that we have seen is the steering valve starts to get "sticky" and will not steer the tractor back onto the line. The tractor on the screen will just kind of wander off line, if you disengage and reengage the steering it will sometimes jerk back to the line and steer again for a while.
Ironically I had this issue last fall. Cross track would be less than 1” and then drift over to 2”+ and just stay there it seemed. Sometimes it would do it once every 30 mins, sometimes you could go half a day. Could disengage auto steer and it would pull itself back over to the line. Sent NAV in and there was some issues with the board and software I guess. Hoping that solves my issue |
