CaseFarmer - 3/12/2023 11:08 So I finally took the plunge and got rtk on my Kubota and going to do boundaries with my agleader sms mobile. It's been awhile and I've been watching videos but if a waterway splits a field I'll go to the second drop down option where it draws automatically as I drive and I'll drive my boundary. Once done how do I go on to the other side of the waterway and do the rest of the field and make that all one? Also I recall settings for gps location on vehicle but can't find them. I'll be putting these into sms and then loading them into our planter tractors with pro 700's and hoping it really helps mom and another guy I have who drives for us by going to field mode in guidance and basing that off of the boundary will help with some a-b line issues we've had in the past. Some fields just will always be difficult but the easier I make it for them the better.

I haven't done this, but there was some discussion about a week ago, where they said you could make "more then one OUTER boundary" with the field of the same name/number. = I never knew this.

For you, it sounds like you could drive around field, 3 sides, then drive one side of waterway (which would complete the 1st outer boundary) then I assume you would "SAVE" that boundary.

Next, go start another OUTER boundary, on opposite side of waterway, and finish up with those 3 other sides, and SAVE it for the 2nd outer boundary (with same field name/number) This is how I perceive it to work, but I've never done it.

During planting or spraying, I assume you would be able to drive right across waterway, and row shutoffs (etc.) would operate correctly, AND you would be considered to be on the SAME field, even though you crossed over your waterway.

Note: All my waterways, separate my fields, thus I haven't needed such an arrangement programmed into monitor.
