I went from quicken to quickbooks several years ago. It all transferred over fine, but won't hurt to check compatibility first. DO NOT do quickbooks online. Buy the quickbooks software that downloads to your computer (if you choose that route). I went to quickbooks because my book keeper used it so we could share files. I do backups to a usb regularly.
