Durant EC Iowa | Ducks are gone since the tragic accident few years ago. No one mentioned the lake you could try fishing but still little hot yet. At any rate rent a pontoon or boat at state park marina and spend a day on the lake! We love it. That time of year lake temp is around 80° - 85°. The Branson Belle has shows while cruising the lake. Not for sure but think there are fireworks at big cedar over labor day. We may be there then too.
College of Ozarks has good restaurant not much else not sure they have tours. Known as the free tuition working college.
