Southern Ontario | Been through the same woes, Norton way too invasive, did not use McAfee as it was not rated as highly as Norton.
Went with Kaspersky as it was very highly rated and said to myself, if the KGB can make an AV it ought to be good, when I
finally saw the light and moved onto Apple i brought Kaspersky with me as it also had an Apple OS version, eventually it too became
too invasive, as luck would have about 6-7 years ago I stumbled upon a french AV (believe it was french) called INTEGO at that time it specialized in
Mac AV, bought and it has been a marvel of AV, it works in the background and one never knows it's around, support is also very good,
2 yrs ago it also branched into the Windows OS and so now it is available for both.Take a good look, Intego now also has bases in the US and quite possibly in ANZ too. | |
