| Having issues removing the pipe where the "hydraulic oil suction screen" line goes into the differential. The book says to remove the whole pipe to access the filter.
I have removed the flanges that hold the pipe on the lower end and it came apart no problem, O Ring and all. I was able to get the snap ring off the other end where it goes into the diff case. It was difficult and I wonder if this pipe has ever been off to clean the screen.
However, now I can't get the pipe to come out of the case. I have tried a pipe wrench and tapping it in an attempt to break it free. But I am not getting anywhere, and before I do any damage I am looking for advice.
Am I missing something or any good ideas on a way to get it out? | |
