East of Broken Bow | Got my wife a Ninja a couple years ago, she uses it a LOT. No other fryer to compare it to, but she's happy with it.
Definatly want the rack if you cook vegetables. A silicone insert is optional - doesn't matter much when cooking, but it does make cleanup easier with some foods.
Steak comes out of it way, way better than out of a frying pan. Chicken is very good as well, or really almost any meat.
This winter the kids and I decided to start experimenting with recipes, and really like Air Fried home made potato chips.
The only drawback is that we eat them as fast as we can make them, LOL.
My only comment would be that things come out of there HOT, so even if your food doesn't look quite done, it cooks a bit after you shut it off, so overcooking can be a concern. | |
